11th national Children Drama Festival concludes

Eleventh edition of the National Children Theatre Festival concluded on Wednesday. Organized by Shailee Theatre, in collaboration with Russian Center of Science and Culture and Nepal Academy of Music and Dance, the eight-day-long fest saw the staging of 18 plays.

Participating teams were judged under six categories — Shailee Theatre Best Actor Award, Late Reshmi Prasad Sapkota Best Actor Award, Late Chitra B. Budhathoki Best Director Award, Anton Chekov Best Drama Award, Balkoseyli Emerging Actor, and Late Ramkeshar Bogati Public Choice Award.

Senior Artist and Director Deshbhakta Khanal, Theatre Artist Saraswoti Chaudhary, and Critic and Journalist Sushil Paudel were in the jury panel of the event.
