Five people arrested from Kanchanpur and Kailali with illegal drugs

KATHMANDU, March 25: Four people were arrested from Bhimdatta Municipality-10, Kanchanpur, with 1 gram 60 mg of illegal drug brown sugar on Sunday evening.

Among those arrested are 22-year-old Dhiraj Bista of Laljhadi Rural Municipality-5, 21-year-old Dinesh Bista of Krishnapur Municipality-3, 28-year-old Roshan Chand of Suklaphanta Municipality-10 and 26-year-old Pradeep Pariyar of Bhimdatta Municipality-1. The police deployed from the District Police Office, Kanchanpur, while checking a three-wheeler (Su.Pa.Pra.02001 Ha 2230), arrested them with the drug.

Similarly, police arrested 27-year-old Karan Chaudhary of the Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City-5 with 1 gram and 220 milligrams of brown sugar from Byarel, Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City-2, on Sunday afternoon. Police deployed from the District Police Office, Kailali, arrested him with the illegal drug.

The police are conducting necessary investigations in both incidents.
