Indian national arrested along with illegal drugs

KATHMANDU, August 1:  The District Police Office, Jhapa, has arrested one Indian national along with illegal drugs.   

A police team deployed from the Area Police Office, Kumarkhod in Taghandubba, Jhapa Rural Municipality-4, arrested Somai Kisku, 36, of Sat Kuwa Dingalbai, Panchayat-1, Kishanganj District, India, who had entered Nepal from India on a bicycle.

The police seized 20 grams of brown sugar wrapped in plastic and over 16 grams of the illegal drug without plastic from Kisku during a check.

Furthermore, police have taken Kisku under control and the necessary investigation into the case is underway, as reported by the police.
