KATHMANDU, July 3: Nepal defeated Singapore in the semi-final match of the ACC U-16 East Zone Cup and qualified for the final. Nepal defeated Singapore by 97 runs.
Chasing a winning target of 185 runs for victory, Singapore was bowled out for 87 runs in 31.3 overs against the tight bowling of Nepal.
Kartik Kamat of Nepal took 3 wickets. Earlier, after winning the toss, Nepal batted first and scored 184 runs losing 9 wickets in the scheduled 35 overs.
