Nepalgunj Festival kicks off

Nepalgunj, April 7: The Nepalgunj Festival, a week long event that encompasses cultural, literary, art, sports and tourism activities, kicked off here from today.

The festival is organised under the joint aegis of Creative Hands, Siddhartha Group, Celebrity Khabar . Com and Creative Group.

A cycle race was organised as part of the festival today in which Prakash Bohara stood first, Govinda Rijal second and Gagan Singh Thapa third.

The winners took home a mountain bike each. Chancellor of Nepal Academy Ganga Prasad Uprety, member-secretary Jitendra Dev Giri and Conal Chief of Police , Senior Sup[erintendent Mahesh Bikram Shah handed over the mountain bike to the winners.
The festival will run till April 13 and will see a motley of programmes. RSS
