Nepali workers going for foreign employment should be made feel safe: Minister Kunwar

GODAWARI, July 11: Minister for Labor Employment and Social Security, Sher Bahadur Kunwar has said that it is important to secure the foreign employment sector.

Speaking at a press conference organized by Socialist Press Organization Nepal in Kailali district of Dhangadhi today, he said that the government has to manage the issue as Nepali workers going to other counties in order to seek employment have been cheated under various pretexts.

Stating that the scope of social security will be effectively implemented and Nepalis in foreign employment will also be included in the scope of social security, Minister Kunwar stressed the need for managing foreign employment and creating employment opportunities at home as there is still a shortage of skilled manpower in the Nepali labor market.

He said that the ministry was working to promote domestic employment through the use of skills, technology and capital acquired from foreign employment.
