Netflix casting call for new movie on Tenzing Norgay Sherpa

Netflix—a popular American-based streaming service is looking for lead actor for an upcoming feature movie based on the life of Tenzing Norgay Sherpa.

BAFTA-nominated director, Jennifer Peedom who is recognized for notable documentaries like ‘Sherpa’ and ‘Mountain’ will direct the movie.

According to the production team, Sherpa, Tibetan or Himalayan male aged between 25 to 40 years based in the UK, New York or Nepal is eligible for the role.

Tenzing was the first climber to climb the summit of Mt Everest in 1953 AD along with Sir Edmund Hillary.
