PADT security personnel found dead at office

KATHMANDU, June 6: A security personnel working with Pashupati Area Development Trust (PADT) was found dead in the newly-constructed building of the Trust.

Dhan Bahadur Rana, the security guard of the office, was found hanging by the employees of the Trust while cleaning the office premises today.

PADT Spokesperson Rewati Raman Adhikari said that the employees reported the incident to the Gaushala Police Office.

According to PADT, Rana is an employee, who was previously working as a gardener.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Sanjeev Babu Khadka said that Rana was found hanging when he reached the incident spot after receiving PADT’s information.

The body was sent to Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital Maharajganj for post-mortem. Further investigation into the incident is underway.

Rana was found hanging in the building built for the PADT Board Members.
