KATHMANDU, Aug 21: The parliamentary hearing of the proposed Chief Justice (CJ) Bishowambar Prasad Shrestha has begun.
Shrestha is now presenting his qualifications, experience and action plans to improve the judiciary in the parliamentary hearing committee. The hearing committee will then begin a questions and answers session.
Earlier on Sunday morning, the parliamentary hearing committee had decided to hold a parliamentary hearing on the appointment of the CJ today.
