The theme for Women's Day this year (March 8) is "Invest in women: Accelerate progress," complemented by the campaign theme, "Inspire Inclusion”. In celebration of the 34th International Women’s Day in Nepal, Republica has curated a collection of 34 inspiring stories showcasing unwavering courage, resilience, and empowerment of women below the age of 34. At 30 years old, Presa Shrestha, a management professional from Kathmandu, Nepal, boasts a bachelor's degree in information management and over nine years of diverse experience spanning IT, media, advertising, e-commerce, and digital marketing. Her journey is fueled by curiosity and a profound passion for business.
Starting as a Marketing Executive during her undergraduate years, Shrestha excelled in roles at a prominent IT firm and one of Nepal's leading media houses. Inspired by Nepal's entrepreneurial spirit, she co-founded Brand Nepal Ventures Pvt Ltd in 2020, launching thebrandnepal.com to support local brands.
Recognizing the growing demand for digital services, Shrestha established Prama Media Pvt Ltd in 2022, catering to corporate needs. Her career highlights include organizing events for The Brand Nepal and providing radio training to aspiring professionals. She has also served as a judge for Khalti Talking Titans and spoken at prestigious events such as The British Council Road to COP26.
Currently, Shrestha manages an e-commerce platform and leads a digital marketing agency, driving brand success in Nepal's competitive landscape.
