KATHMANDU, Sept 9: The country is experiencing moderate to moderate rains in a few places of Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, Lumbini and Karnali provinces today. Furthermore, there is a possibility of moderate to heavy rain in some parts of the country for the next three days, according to the weather forecast division of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.
In the afternoon today, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning at some places of Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces and few places of rest of the provinces. Heavy rainfall is likely in few places in Lumbini and Sudurpaschim Province. There is also a possibility of storm in few places of tarai area of Madhes, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces.
Later tonight, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning at some places in Bagmati, Gandaki and Sudurpaschim provinces. Heavy rainfall is likely in a couple of places in Madhesh, Gandaki, Lumbini and Sudurpaschim provinces.
