Senior leader Poudel arrives Portugal

LISBON, Sept 20: Nepali Congress (NC) senior leader, Ramchandra Poudel, who is currently on the Europe tour, arrived in Portugal on Wednesday evening.

Senior leader Poudel is here to address an interaction programme themed "Nepali Congress’ role in the implementation of federalism in Nepal" organized by the Nepali Janasamparka Samiti (NJS), Portugal Chapter today.

Poudel earlier had toured around Luxembourg, Belgium, and France, and had attended an event organized by the Nepali Janasamparka Samiti’s respective countries’ chapters there.

Poudel, in Portugal, was received by the NJS’s Portugal Chapter Chairperson and Honorary Consulate General for Portugal Makar Bahadur Hamal, Non-Resident Nepali Association Portugal President Kuber Karki and representatives from various organizations as well as the NC cadres among others.

He is scheduled to travel Spain after two-day of Portugal stay where he will address another event organized by the NJS, Spain Chapter.

The NC senior leader is returning home on September 28 after attending similar kind of events to be held in Switzerland, Germany, and the Netherlands after Spain. RSS
