Two youths arrested with illegal drugs

SURKHET, Jan 12: Police have arrested two people with illegal drugs. According to the District Police Office, Surkhet, one person was arrested from the Babai check post of Bheriganga Municipality and the other was arrested from Ekant Nagar of Birendranagar-10.

DSP Suraj Karki, spokesperson for the District Police Office, Surkhet, said that 790 milligrams of brown sugar was found in the possession of Meghraj BK, 29, of Birendranagar-9 Latikoili. He was traveling from Nepalgunj to Surkhet.

Similarly, the joint team of Narcotics Control Bureau and District Police Office Surkhet has arrested Saurabh Shrestha,18, of Chandannath Municipality-5 of Jumla who was living in Ekantnagar tol of Birendranagar-10. According to the police, Rs 66,720 along with eight grams and 770 milligrams of the illegal drug were seized from Shrestha.
