Whereabouts of Bipin Joshi still unknown

KATHMANDU, Jan 7: The whereabouts of Nepal's Bipin Joshi, missing for the past three months amid the Israel-Hamas conflict, remains unknown. Joshi disappeared following Hamas' attack on Israel on October 7.

Despite the government's repeated pleas to locate and release him, there is no information on Joshi's condition. His family sought help from Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Israel's ambassador to Nepal, urging for his release, but there has been no progress on Joshi's status.

Even with the 7-day ceasefire between the conflicting parties, the anguish for Joshi's family continues to grow as he remains unreleased.
