Youth arrested on charge of killing his own father

KATHMANDU, Jan 31: Police arrested Ram Bilas Rana, 26, of Laljhadi Rural Municipality-2 in Kanchanpur on Sunday night on the charge of murdering his own father, Kothaggu Rana, 42.

Ram was arrested by the police from Area Police Office, Shankarpur and Area Police Office, Belauri after receiving information that he had stabbed Kothaggu to death with an ax in a domestic dispute.

Police are conducting further investigation into the murder.
