KATHMANDU, April 4:  The government has not been working to diagnose and tackle the new variants of COVID-19 though the number of COVID-19 infections is increasing in the recent weeks.

KATHMANDU, April 1: Nepalis who received the first shot of COVID-19 vaccine on January 27 are unlikely to receive the second shot on time due to the government’s failure to procure the vaccine.

RAMPUR, March 24: Rampur Municipality in Palpa allocated a total of 21.5 million rupees for COVID-19 response activities in the last and current fiscal year. However, the municipality is yet to submit its report to the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration (MoFAGA).

KATHMANDU, Feb 21: Of the 753 local bodies, 153 have not yet submitted the COVID-19 expenditure details, including the fund received from the federal government, provincial government and their allocation, to the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration (MoFAGA).

KATHMANDU, Feb 17: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), a key body to address public health concerns, has not been proactive to share the detailed information about COVID-19 funds, its allocation and records of spending by different government bodies.
