Valley’s COVID-19 caseload increased by 10,738 in just one week
KATHMANDU, Oct 11: The Kathmandu Valley recorded 1,416 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, taking the Valley’s COVID-19 case tally to 41,586
Of the 2,071 new cases of COVID-19 recorded across the country, 1,416 were recorded in the Valley alone.

According to the latest data from the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 1,145 people in Kathmandu, 110 in Bhaktapur and 161 in Lalitpur districts were diagnosed with the virtual disease.
The number of people infected with the virus in the Kathmandu Valley was 30,848 a week ago which rose to 41,586 on Sunday.
Likewise, eight people from the Kathmandu Valley succumbed to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours. So far, 197 people have died of COVID-19 in the Valley.
The three districts within the Valley are among the districts with the highest number of active cases in Nepal.
