2 held with arms and banned drugs

SARLAHI, July 12: Police have arrested two people with weapons and banned drugs from Nawalpur in the district during a security check.

SARLAHI, July 12: Police have arrested two people with weapons and banned drugs from Nawalpur in the district during a security check.


Acting on a tip-off a team deployed from Sarlahi District Police Office detained Mahammad Rijwan, 35, of Hariwan-11 and Karna Bahadur Blon of Hariwan-3 on Tuesday night with an automatic pistol (made in USA no. 1111, KF 7065), its three rounds of bullets, magazine and narcotic drugs.

 The arms and banned drugs were seized during the security check while they were coming in a car toward East West Highway from Malangawa.


SP Uttam Raj Subedi informed that they are investigating the case after taking them under control.
