As of today, 183 COVID-19 patients discharged after recovery across the country

KATHMANDU, May 27: Twenty-eight more COVID-19 patients were discharged from various hospitals after recovery on Wednesday, taking the total number of discharged patients to 183, the Ministry of Health and Population said.

KATHMANDU, May 27: Twenty-eight more COVID-19 patients were discharged from various hospitals after recovery on Wednesday, taking the total number of discharged patients to 183, the Ministry of Health and Population said.


Spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Population, Dr Bikash Devkota said that 21 patients have discharged from Narayani Hospital in Birgunj after recovery earlier today. The discharged patients are from the Parsa district (five females and 16 males aged between 1.5 years to 62 years).

Similarly, 4 patients (one male and three females aged between 36 to 65) from Udayapur district were discharged from Koshi Hospital. Also, three more COVID-19 patients were discharged from Susil Koirala Memorial Hospital.


To date 183 individuals have been discharged from hospitals after recovery. Among them, 30 are from Province 1, 97 from Province 2, 11 from Bagmati Province, 2 from Gandaki Province, 38 from Province 5, and 5 from Sudurpaschim Province. Of the total discharged patients, 41 are females and 142 are males.
