3-point deal heading toward implementation: Minister Lekhak

KATHMANDU, Aug 6: Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport, Ramesh Lekhak on Saturday said that the government has expedited the implementation of the 3-point deal reached among Nepali Congress (NC), CPN (Maoist Center) and United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF).

KATHMANDU, Aug 6: Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport, Ramesh Lekhak on Saturday said that the government has expedited the implementation of the 3-point deal reached among Nepali Congress (NC), CPN (Maoist Center) and United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF).



Speaking at an interaction at Reporters’ Club he said, “With the decision by the second meeting of the Council of Minister, the agreement is heading toward implementation.”



According him, after the decision of the cabinet, UDMF has become ready to discuss the issue of amending the constitution.



Minister Lekhak added that unity and co-work among political parties was needed to implement the constitution.



On a separate note, he said that the cabinet will get a full shape soon, adding that NC and other parties will finalize the name of minister soon.
