4,189 votes counted in Rasuwa

RASUWA, May 14: As many as 4,189 votes have been counted in Rasuwa district which has five municipalities. Early vote count results show that CPN-UML is taking lead in the local level elections in the four rural municipalities.

RASUWA, May 14: As many as 4,189 votes have been counted in Rasuwa district which has five municipalities. Early vote count results show that CPN-UML is taking lead in the local level elections in the four rural municipalities.


Kaisang Nurpu, candidate of Gosaikunda Rural Municipality, has secured 115 votes while his closest rival Pemba Chhiring Tamang of Nepali Congress got    69 votes.


 Kargyalmo Shrestha, deputy chief of UML  candidate, got 114 votes and Deki Tamang of NC got 62 votes.


Similarly, CPN (Maoist Center) candidate Phurba Tamang got 7 votes while Kami Buti Tamang of Naya Shakti Party Nepal candidate got 1 and deputy chief Nurpu Singi Tamang got 2 votes.

Similarly, 490 votes have been counted in Parbatikunda Rural Municipality. As per the final votes count results, NSPN Buchung Tamang and Sangita Tamang are taking lead with 293, 162 votes respectively.


Similarly, CPN-UML chief candidate Lhakpa Gombo Tamang got 69 votes while deputy chief Nabina Lama 109 votes.


Likewise, CPN (Maoist Center) candidate Phurpu Tenjin Tamang got 64 votes, Tara Tamang 83 votes while NC candidate Abhinas Tamang got 9 and Chhenjum Tamang secured 22 votes.


Of the total 159 votes counted as of now in Naukunda Rural Municipality, NC candidate Nurpu Sangbo Ghale got 382 votes, Bhumi Lama of NSPN got 178, Uti Lamini 211 votes. Similarly, UML candidate Mlangdung Moktan got 57, Srijana Lama 70 while CPN  (MC) candidate  Keshav Prasad Paudel got 135 votes while independent candidate Lakshin Tamang secured 9 votes.


In Kalika Rural Municipality, 900 votes have been counted so far. CPN (MC) Uddhav Prasad  Rijal got 287 votes, Shila Magar got 399 votes while CPN-UML candidate Sita Kumari Paudel got 272 votes, Bhawani Prasad Neupane got 323 votes.


Likewise, Sadhuram Paudel of Nepali Congress secured 202 votes, Sabitri Devi KC got 64 votes while NSPN candidate Krishna Bahadur Tamang got 93 votes, Sarita Neupane 44 votes. Likewise, RPP chairman Tika Prasad Devkota got 4 votes while Chitra Kumari Devkota got 5 votes so far.


Of the total 1,532 votes counted so far in Uttargaya Rural Municipality, NSPN Indraprasad Sapkota got 428 votes, Chameli BK 274 votes while CPN-ML candidate Ahok Ghimire 466 votes and Chameli Gurung got 624 votes, NC candidate Upendra Kumar Lamsal got 424 votes, Pampha Devi Timalsina got 406 votes while CPN (MC) chairman Meghanatha Ghimire got 112 votes while Renu Maya Gurung got 96 votes, according to returning officer.
