SOCIAL WORK IS HER PASSION

When you look at Phupu, you see her dedication towards Judo. But you might not know the fact that she is deeply passionate about the betterment of her community. She is concerned about the well being of street children and senior citizens of the country. She feels sad when she finds children begging in the cold streets of Kathmandu and would love to be involved in social work.

Is a FC Barcelona FAN

The La Liga games are held mostly during midnight, and although she doesn’t get time to watch the games due to her tight schedule, Phupu shares deep love towards the football club. Her games keep her busy but she makes sure to keep up with the latest update through online news or YouTube. She is also a big fan of Thomas Muller, national player of Germany, and supports team Germany during the World Cup.

WOULD HAVE BEEN A JOURNALIST IF NOT JUDOKA

You might not believe that when you find out that our favorite Judoka shares a deep passion for journalism and would have built her career in journalism if it was not for Judo. As a child, she was inquisitive and curious. She wanted to study journalism because she was fascinated by the idea of interviewing famous, big personalities of different fields.

LOVES TO TRAVEL

Khatri has traveled to many Asian and European countries. She has traveled to France, Hungary, Thailand, India and Pakistan to participate in various competitions. Among all the countries she visited, France is her favorite. She fondly remembers her experience of getting drenched by rain and climbing the famous Eiffel Tower, along with the company of her teammates.

FOCUSED IN CAREER

Phupu is solely focused on her career and is single. She wouldn’t want to be involved in a relationship for now as she wants to achieve greater things in life. Starting relationship now would only complicate things as she is very busy with her sport. She would love to climb Mt.  Everest and her father was a mountain climber.
