KATHMANDU, Jan 17: The sixth edition of Nepal Agritech International Exhibition is all set to kick off at Bhrikuti Mandap, Kathmandu from January 26. The three-day event is being organised by Media Space Solutions Pvt Ltd in collaboration with Futurex Trade Fair and Events Pvt Ltd and ETSIPL in an attempt to transform Nepal’s agriculture landscape.
The exhibition, which will conclude on January 28, will have over 100 stalls of domestic and international companies related to agriculture.
Nepal-Bangladesh Expo from Tuesday
The exhibition is scheduled to be inaugurated by Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Development Beduram Bhusal at 11:00 AM on January 26.
It will feature stalls with agriculture-related stuffs including poultry farming, fish farming, goat farming, cattle breeding, and dairy. The expo will also display cutting-edge agricultural tools, equipment, greenhouses, drip irrigation, and pesticide-free farming methods with the aim of providing attendees with invaluable information.
The event is supported by Muktinath Agricultural Company along with the Municipal Association of Nepal (MuAN), National Federation of Rural Municipalities Nepal, National Farmers Group Federation (NFGF) and Nepal Agriculture Cooperative Central Federation.
The organisers have expressed confidence that the exhibition will help identify the latest technologies suitable for Nepal's agricultural sector, ultimately contributing to increased agricultural production and fostering self-sufficiency.
The 6th Nepal Agritech exhibition is expected to offer a platform for growth, innovation, and sustainability of the agricultural sector of Nepal.
