Valley’s COVID-19 death toll hits 122 with six new deaths on Thursday
KATHMANDU, Sept 24: The Kathmandu Valley’s COVID-19 case tally has reached 19,129 with 755 new cases reported in the past 24 hours.

According to the latest data from the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 609 people in Kathmandu, 51 in Bhaktapur and 95 in Lalitpur were diagnosed with the novel coronavirus disease. The new cases of COVID-19 in the Valley include 476 males and 279 females.
Similarly, six people – four from Kathmandu and two from Bhaktapur -- succumbed to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours in the Valley alone. So far, 122 people have died of COVID-19 in the federal capital of Nepal.
Kathmandu district witnessed the highest number of new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours in Nepal followed by Chitwan District.
The MoHP recorded 1,497 new cases of COVID-19 across the country and 17 more fatalities linked to the4 disease.
