BARDIYA, May 27: A 55-year old man staying in a quarantine facility in Bardiya has passed away.

According to police Inspector Sushil Thapa, Jagadish Godiya of Gulariya Municipality-9, Gadenpuriwaa died in the quarantine set up at Babai Multiple Campus in the district. Godiya had come from Achham and had been staying in the quarantine since a few days ago.
Although medics have suspected of a heart attack, the cause of his death is yet to be ascertained. His swab sample will be collected for COVID-19 test since he died while staying in quarantine, according to officials overseeing the quarantine facility.
