KATHMANDU, Sept 7: Aadit Subedi and Samyak Bhusan Bajracharya have advanced to the semifinals of the ANLTA Asian Junior Tour U-14 Ranking Tennis Tournament in the boy's section beating Indian opponents on Wednesday.
In the quarterfinal match of circuit one played at the Satdobato Tennis Complex, Aadit defeated Bhatsal Shrivastav 6-0, 6-4 and Samyak overcame Aryaman Meheta 6-3, 6-2.

In the same event, Amitoj Singh Sachdev of India overcame Saharsha Chand of Nepal 7-5, 6-3 while India's Arnav Pathange registered a double bagel win over compatriot Ambitious Goldsmith to progress in the last four. In the semifinal, Aadit will face Samyak and Amitoj will vie against Arnav.
In the girl's singles event, Ira Rawat and Prerana Koirala of Nepal and India's Sambhavi Tiwari and Laxanya Bishwanath advanced to the semifinals.
Ira overcame Priyanka Chaudhary 6-0, 6-0 while Prerana beat Tamisa Pranjal of India 6-2, 6-3. In the same category, Sambhavi overcame Abhilasha Bista 6-3, 6-4 and Laxanya defeated Rayana Shah 6-2, 6-1.
In the semifinals Laxanya will meet Sambhavi and Prerana will face Ira.
