Adhikari elected president of Chitwan Youth Group ICC

RATNANAGAR, CHITWAN, Oct 19: The global conference of the Chitwan Youth Group International Coordination Committee has unanimously elected a 13-member new executive body with Mukti Prasad Adhikari as its president.

RATNANAGAR, CHITWAN, Oct 19: The global conference of the Chitwan Youth Group International Coordination Committee has unanimously elected a 13-member new executive body with Mukti Prasad Adhikari as its president.


Buddhi Raj Aryal is the senior vice-president, Manoj Aryal the second vice-president and Kabita Dhakal the woamn vice-president.

The conference began in Chitwan on Wednesday. It elected Ram Babu Thapa to the post of general secretary, Ganesh Dhakal to the post of secretary, Sita Dhakal to the post of treasurer, and Samir KC as the overseas coordinator and Shanta Gyawali as the overseas women coordinator. 


Likewise, the regional coordinators are Shyam Thapa (Gulf countries coordinator), Gauri Subedi (Middle-east coordinator) and Muktiram Kharel (Asia-Pacific coordinator). 


Minister for Forest and Soil Conservation Bikram Pandey had inaugurated the conference. Youths from Chitwan district currently working and living in Qatar, Israel, UAE, South Korea, Japan, Kuwait, Cyprus, Bahrain, Denmark and Ireland are the members of the Chitwan Youth Group ICC. (RSS)
