RASUWA, Dec 9: Uttargaya Rural Municipality of Rasuwa has recently established health posts in all of its five wards indicating the importance it has given to public health.
The rural municipality said it opened health posts in all the wards in order to make health facilities accessible to all.
30 wards in Jumla without health posts
Before the local elections, there were only three health posts in the local unit.
"Health is an essential prerequisite for development. That is why we have brought all these health posts into operation," said Utsav Paudel, health assistant and information officer at the health department of the rural municipality.
The rural municipality has also established laboratories in the health posts of Thulogaun and Laharepauwa. Information officer Paudel further informed that preparations are underway to establish laboratory in the health post of Dadagaun as well.
