Apex court show cause order on border pillars

KATHMANDU, Feb 1: The Supreme Court today issued a show cause notice in the name of the government seeking reasons behind the installation of border pillars that encroach Nepali territory in the Nepal-India border.

KATHMANDU, Feb 1: The Supreme Court today issued a show cause notice in the name of the government seeking reasons behind the installation of border pillars that encroach Nepali territory in the Nepal-India border. 


A single bench of Justice Om Prakash Mishra issued the notice asking the government to present within 15 days reasons behind the installation of border pillars that encroach the country's territory in its border with India in the mountain hills and tarai region, according to the court joint spokesperson Nagendra Kalakheti.
