KC equalized for APF in the 50th minute of the match utilizing a ball coming from Sabitra Bhandari’s header which hit the post. Basnet, then, scored the winning goal for APF seven minutes before the end of the match and gave the departmental team the all important three points.

APF was limited to 10 players after Manmaya Limbu was shown the second yellow card in the third minute of injury time.

Likewise in the first match of the super league, NPC defeated Far-western with a 1-0 victory in a competitive match. Rupa Magar’s 31st minute strike was enough for NPC to win the match.

In the last match of the super league on Thursday, TAC will take on Far-western, while APF will face NPC.
