KATHMANDU, Feb 22: Asian Paints Nepal has announced winners for Architecture Students Design Competition 2019-2020.


The Kaleidoscope - All Nepal Architecture Students Design Competition 2019-20 is a CSR Initiative from Asian Paints Nepal to honor the Future Heroes of our society where last batch of B. Arch students participate.


The project was to design Lalitpur Metropolitan City Office Building – Block B and the top 5 winners were awarded Sunday at an event held at Hotel Yak & Yeti, Durbarmarg at the presence of the Chiribabu Maharjan, mayor of Lalitpur Metropolitan City.

The winner of the competition was Shubham Karki from IOE, Purwanchal Campus. He will receive a cash prize of Rs 70,000 from Asian Paints and Rs. 25,000 from LMC.


The first runner up was Sunita Gurung from IOE,  Thapathali Campus. She will receive a cash prize of Rs 40,000 from Asian Paints and Rs. 20,000 from LMC.


The second runner up was Prabasha Bajracharya from IOE,  Thapathali Campus. She will receive a cash prize of Rs 30,000 from Asian Paints and Rs. 15,000 from LMC.


Two consolation prize winners were Dipesh Katuwal from IOE,  Thapathali Campus and Bibek Himalaya from IOE, Pulchowk Campus. They will receive a cash prize of Rs 10,000 from Asian Paints and Rs. 10,000 from LMC.


LMC has also announced to provide Rs. 5,000 to the remaining 10 participants.
