Bakraha flood-hit farmers to receive relief

URLABARI (Morang), Oct 31: The farmers in Morang who were severely affected by the recent flood in Bakraha River are to receive assistance from the District Agriculture Development Office (DADO), Morang.

URLABARI (Morang), Oct 31: The farmers in Morang who were severely affected by the recent flood in Bakraha River are to receive assistance from the District Agriculture Development Office (DADO), Morang.


The DADO, Morang is going to launch relief programme aimed at providing relief and respite to flood-hit farmers.

A project plan worth Rs 2.2 million has been forwarded to the Center which seeks to offer subsidy schemes to such farmers on solar pump, fertilizers, seeds and manure among others to arouse enthusiasm among farmers for their business recovery in the wake of flood, according to Satyadev Mandal, Agriculture Extension Officer at DADO, Morang. 


The scheme applies to the farmers holding agricultural in their land, clarified Agriculture Extension Officer, Mandal. RSS
