Call for ‘search and destroy mosquito larvae’ campaign in Dhangadhi

Kailali, Oct 20: Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City has requested its ward offices and health institutions to carry out a ‘search and destroy mosquito larvae’ campaign, saying that the risk of dengue infection is not over yet.

Kailali, Oct 20: Dhangadhi Sub-metropolitan City has requested its ward offices and health institutions to carry out a ‘search and destroy mosquito larvae’ campaign, saying that the risk of dengue infection is not over yet.


The sub-metropolitan city has issued a notice requesting all its 19 ward offices and health institutions in the sub-metropolis to identify the possible places at homes, offices and other places in the community where mosquito larvae can grow, and carry out the campaign to search and destroy them.

For the campaign, women health volunteers, health workers, local intellectuals, Aama Samuha, ward clubs etc have been mobilized. Earlier, one of the sub-metropolitan city of Dhangadhi, had conducted ‘Search and Destroy Larva’ in the ward with the help of health workers and health volunteers.
