Cases of viral fever increasing in Rautahat with rise in temperature

RAUTAHAT, July 18: For the past four days, the temperature has been soaring in Rautahat, increasing the number of viral fever patients.

According to the Rautahat District Hospital, cases of viral fever have been increasing across the district since Friday. Dr Nabal Kishor Jha, chief of the hospital said around 40-50 patients suffering from viral fever visit the hospital on a daily basis. “The local health posts and hospitals are crowded with viral fever patients,” claimed Dr Jha, “It is a great challenge for the people to walk during day time these days. Even the nights are hot and humid.” He urged the people not to walk under the scorching sun and drink as much water as possible.
