Child stolen from hospital in Kohalpur!

NEPALGUNJ, July 2: A child was stolen from Nepalgunj Medical College, Kohalpur on Saturday afternoon. A 5-year-old Srijan Oli, a resident of Tulsipur Municipality-5 went out of the sight suddenly.

NEPALGUNJ, July 2: A child was stolen from Nepalgunj Medical College, Kohalpur on Saturday afternoon. A 5-year-old Srijan Oli, a resident of Tulsipur Municipality-5 went out of the sight suddenly.


After the news of child going missing spread like a wildfire, police kicked off the search operation and found the kid at Chauraha of Kohalpur some an hour later, according to Area Police Office, Kohalpur.

Police have arrested Amar Khadka, a resident of Mahadevpuri -4, Banke accusing him of being involvement in stealing the child.


The culprit was drunk, so he is kept under custody, according to In-charge of Area Police Office Kohalpur Suresh Prasad Kafle. “His intention behind the theft will be cleared after an investigation,” Kafle said, “We haven’t not interrogated with the culprit as he is drunk”


Shirjan’s mother has just delivered a baby at the hospital.


Culprit Khadka used to go to hospital twice a day to deliver food to his ailing brother. During the hospital visit, Khadka used to play Srijan offering chocolates.


Police said that Khadka took child to Chauraha from the hospital on an electric rickshaw.
