KATHMANDU, March 3: As the Nepal Investment Summit concluded on Friday, investors from various countries have pledged to invest $ 13.52 billion (more than Rs 1300 billion) in various projects.
By the end of the summit, Nepal has received letters of intent worth $13.52 billion for various projects. China is on the top in terms of pledged amount as investors from China submitted letters of intent worth $8.30 billion.
Investors pledge Rs 1100 billion at Investment Summit
Investors from Bangladesh pledged $2.40 billion for the projects. Japanese and British investors pledged $1 billion each.
Likewise, Sri Lankan investors expressed commitment to invest $ 0.50 billion while the Indians pledged $317 million.
During the Summit, Nepali businessmen pledged to invest 11.5 million.
