KATHMANDU, Nov 8: The People's Liberation Army (PLA) of China has provided the Nepal Army with 10 units of ventilators, 100 units of oxygen concentrators, and 300,000 doses of Vero Cell vaccine. The medical supplies were handed over by Chinese ambassador Hou Yanqi to Nepal’s Chief of Army Staff, General Prabhu Ram Sharma at a program organized at the Nepal Army Headquarters on Monday.

At the handover ceremony, which was attended by Nepal Army officers, General Sharma thanked China and the Chinese People's Liberation Army for their support.
General Sharma expressed his belief that such assistance will also benefit the Nepal Army and will enable them to serve the Nepali people more effectively in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic and strengthen the relationship between the armies of the two nations.
