KATHMANDU, Sept 21: CPN (Moist Center) Headquarters Member Mani Thapa has claimed that the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) resuscitated the cantonment corruption case as a bargaining chip.
Speaking at a program organized in the Capital City on Wednesday, leader Thapa said that the anti-corruption body revived the case to bargain at a time when serious questions are being raised over the appointment of CIAA Chief Commissioner, Lokman Singh Karki.
PM criticized for revealing his understanding with CIAA Chief
“We will retaliate against it,” he said, “It was a wrong step at a wrong time.”
On a separate note, he said that the India visit by PM Dahal was successful.
