CIB arrests one for collecting Rs 13.1 million from many promising overseas jobs

KATHMANDU, Sept 10: The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police has arrested a man for collecting Rs 13.1 million from different persons by promising them job in Japan under the government quota.

KATHMANDU, Sept 10: The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police has arrested a man for collecting Rs 13.1 million from different persons by promising them job in Japan under the government quota. 


Police said that 33-year-old Sabin Prakash Danuwar of Sindhupalchowk district was held on the charge of collecting money after alluring them of jobs in Japan. Danuwar is also the chair of Danuwar Biman Securities and Services Pvt. Ltd.

According to spokesperson of CIB Superintendent of Police Sanuram Bhattarai, Danuwar and his teammates collected Rs 700,000 to Rs 1.2 million each from 28 persons. 


Police had already arrested Sarita Gurung, 33, of Nuwakot and Lalmani Danuwar, 23, of Udayapur district on the same charge. Gurung is in jail after failing to submit Rs 1 million in bail as ordered by the Kathmandu District Court while Danuwar was released for paying the bail amount. RSS
