CJ Karki assures to reach justice to victims

HETAUDA, Dec 12: Chief Justice Sushila Karki has committed to provide the justice to the people who were compelled to live facing injustice in the society.

HETAUDA, Dec 12: Chief Justice Sushila Karki has committed to provide the justice to the people who were compelled to live facing injustice in the society. 


While inaugurating a seminar entitled 'Role of Stakeholders to Strengthen the Access on Justice' here today, CJ Karki directed the concerned bodies to arrange the free of cost case registration process in the court to the poor and underprivileged groups who were completed to face injustice due to the poor economic conditions and inaccessibility as well.

She urged all to reach the victims and bring them to the door of the courts for justice remembering that some of so-called clever people in the society were stopping the victims from reaching the courts even in serious crimes like rape, human rights violations among others. 


She stressed on the effective role of the judges to provide justice to the victims by reforming the justice delivering system. 


Chief Justice Karki opined for making the courts victim-friendly where they could get easy access to justice. 


On the occasion, justices of Patan and Hetauda High Courts and Makawanpur district court judges stressed on the role of police and civil society to promote human rights and to help the courts for timely deciding the cases. RSS
