BUTWAL, Aug 15: A COVID-19 patient from Mayadevi-7, Kapilvastu district died while undergoing treatment at Lumbini Provincial Hospital in Butwal on Saturday.
The 40 years old man was admitted to hospital on Aug 13. According to Dr Sudarshan Thapa, he was suffering from pneumonia and later tested positive for the virus. “He did not have any travel history or any chronic disease.”
So far, two people have succumbed to the novel coronavirus disease in Kapilvastu.
Two days ago, a 42 years old man without any travel history and chronic disease also died of COVID-19.
In recent days, the novel coronavirus disease has proved to be fatal not only for the elderly and those with chronic diseases but also for youths and healthy people.
