"The country has already entered into the federal democratic republic system and the election is a must to institutionalize the achievements by implementing the constitution," said President Bhandari at the Silver-Jubilee celebration of Sakuna Multpile Campus in Sundar Haraincha Municipality of Morang on Friday.
She expressed hope the local units, after the elections, could give impetus to local development as the constitution has guaranteed significant rights to the local units. "The election could end anarchy at local units and guide the country towards peace, stability and prosperity," said President Bhandari. She also urged educational institutions to focus on quality education to produce honest and conscious citizens.
