KHOTANG, August 30: The whole Chiuribas village in Lamidada Rural Municipality-13 of Khotang has been mourning the death of one of the villagers, whose dead body was brought back in a coffin from Saudi Arabia.
Dal Bahadur Rai had gone to the Gulf nation a few years ago for foreign employment. His relative said that they found him dead on his bed on August 12 after he returned from his duty.
His body was brought back to his village on Tuesday. The final rites were performed later in the day as per the Bahing Rai tradition. He is survived by a son and a daughter.
