Deadlock may entangle more if bill not withdrawn: Nepal

BARDIBAS (Mahottari), Jan 1: CPN-UML leader and former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal has blamed the government of not taking the initiative to resume the House business.


Addressing party district level leaders and cadres here today, leader Nepal said that the political deadlock may entangle further if the government forcibly tries to forward the constitution amendment bill by neglecting the opposition parties.

He added that the political deadlock will break immediately after the government withdraws the amendment bill. In another context, he made it clear that the UML was not against the Madhes and Madhesi people, while challenging all to compete in the coming elections with his party in the Tarai. RSS
