Devisiddhi drinking water project underway

RUPANDEHI, Jan 8: The foundation stone for the Devsiddhi Drinking Water and Sanitation Project to be constructed at Butwal Sub Metropolis – 13 was laid on Saturday. 


Former finance minister and lawmaker, Bishnu Prasad Poudel, laid the foundation stone to be constructed under the supervision of Drinking Water and Sanitation Division Office, Rupandehi.

The project will be completed by fiscal year 2019/20 under an investment of Rs 99.6 million, according to the Division Office. 


At the program, lawmaker Poudel said the government must be sensitive towards the fact that access to drinking water is civilians' right. The project is expected to benefit 1,381 households. RSS
