RASUWA, Aug 13: Movements via the Dhunche-Gosaikunda foot trail has resumed after Nepal Army stationed at the Langtang National Park repaired the track.
The foot trail had been affected by landslides three days ago and had led to difficulties for commuters. Keeping in mind the Gosaikunda festival, the army repaired around 30 meters of the road, according to Captain Ashok Buda Khampa.
Dhunche-Gosaikunda trail reopens after 10 days
Around 90 percent of pilgrims who visit the Gosaikunda use the foot trail. There are four trails that they can use to reach the temple; Dhunche-Gosaikunda, Thadepati-Gosaikunda, Yarsa-Gosaikunda and Sagarkund-Gosaikunda.
The Dhunche trail is one of the most preferred routes for those visiting the temple from Kathmandu.
