DPM Mahara bats for common stance on foreign affairs

KATHMANDU, August 30: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Krishna Bahadur Mahara has said that the government and media should have a common voice in the issues of foreign affairs.

KATHMANDU, August 30: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Krishna Bahadur Mahara has said that the government and media should have a common voice in the issues of foreign affairs. 


At a meeting with the newly-elected office bearers of the Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) today at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mahara said that all bodies in the country should make uniformity regarding issues of foreign policy.

On the occasion, Secretary at the Ministry Shanker Das Bairagi said that the voice of FNJ should match with the voice of Ministry while putting opinions on country's foreign policy. 


Likewise, FNJ Chairman Govinda Acharya said that the FNJ would firmly stand for press freedom, citizen rights and national interests. RSS
