At the launch, Dr Prasai presented copies of ‘Sadhai Tanneri’ to 97-year-old culture expert Satya Mohan Joshi and 70-year-old botanist Dr Tirtha Bahadur Shrestha. Musician Aavas discussed the new book with Dr Shrestha and the writer.

“The book suggests that we should add life to our years, not years to our life,” Dr Shrestha said of the book. He added, “We also learn that in order to lead a healthy life we have to know our health. The book flows smoothly and it’s like as interesting to read as a fiction. It’s very easy to read.”

Culture expert Joshi stated that it is not just food but contentment in one’s life that also plays a huge role in ensuring that we all live a healthy, happy and long life.

In the book, Dr Prasai has given different examples based on eastern philosophy and modern science from the west.

‘Sadhai Tanneri’ is available in all major bookstores for Rs 345.
