According to the DSO, training will be provided to the surveyors from April 4 to 8. As the country has already entered a federal structure, the economic census is expected to help study the economic status of the newly formed metropolitan cities, sub-metropolitan cities, municipalities and rural municipalities.

Details will be collected from the district level authorities and then sent to the CBS. Though the details will be collected by district authorities, analysis will be made by the central department.  CBS is planning to study and publicize the details of the overall economic condition of the country for public awareness.
