CHITWAN, April 13: A former police head constable has brutally killed a school teacher at Gaindakot of Nawalparasi on Thursday morning.
A critically injured Sheshkanta Rimal, 36, who was rushed to the Bharatpur-based Chitwan Medical College, breathed his last in the course of treatment, according to police.

The murdered teacher was a tenant at the former head constable's house. Area Police, Gaindakot has arrested Bishnu Paudel, 41, a local of Gaindakot Municipality, on the charge of killing Rimal.
According to preliminary investigation by police, Paudel had called Rimal to come out of the house at 3 am on Thurday and attacked him with a shovel, informed Subash Hamal, inspector at Gaindakot Area Police Office.
Inspector Hamal said they have yet to find out whether the murder was premeditated or not.
The deceased was an English teacher at Saraswati Niketan Higher Secondary School. He was a friendly man, according to Bharatbabu Kandel, head teacher of the school.
